What would Jesus tell you if he was sitting next to you at this moment?
Would He tell you that you need to take that first step to change your life?
Would He say, focus on Him and he will get you through it?
Would he tell you no matter what, no matter if you fail, no matter if you fall flat on your face, that he isn’t leaving you?
And even more important, Are We Listening?

That’s why it’s so important to do more, see more, experience more every single day before that opportunity Is No Longer Ours.
Did you ever stop to think that for every minute we spend analyzing
someone else’s life it affects our life as well. Yes, every minute we spend on social media of every single day we look at how our past or the present is doing.
As we look it makes us happy or sad, jealous or even angry that others may have or are doing so much more than we are and you start to realize that by continuing to look at social media and judge other’s existence, that very act, is affecting our daily and future existence as well.
So STOP That. Stop being happy or sad over the past or the present. STOP being jealous or angry about the fact that others have more or are doing more than you and START Doing More yourself.
STOP living life through someone else’s existence on social media and start creating a better life for yourself. Start Living, a Better Life, for Yourself.
Did you ever stop to think what the most pleasing Five Letter Word is? Money, No It’s Not Money. Could it be Sorry? Nope, Not Sorry Either. SMILE is the most pleasing five letter word. So take a little time to bring a smile to someone’s face today.
Research shows laughter has a number of direct health benefits:Strengthening your immune system, It may reduce food cravings (we eat because we’re bored). Laughter can increase your threshold for pain and is linked to the healthy function of blood vessels.

As a child he was Epileptic and had uncontrollable seizures.
His father was a pianist and his mother was a jazz singer in a club.
Hard to believe but following in hes parents footsteps he wrote his first on his dad’s piano at the early age of seven.
He had a hard early life with his parents divorcing when he was only ten years old. His mom remarried but the young man had a difficult relationship with his new stepfather. That led to him moving back in with his real father which proved to be a blessing when is old man bought him his first guitar.
As things would go, soon after that his father, for what ever the reason, kicked him out and so this young man moved into his neighbors basement.
Once, his cousin, also a musician, asked him to play on an album. It was that moment that convinced him to pursue his own musical ambitions. He made a Demo Tape but couldn’t seem to get anyone to listen to it. So he went back to the start and recorded a new one which finally caught someone’s ear and got some much needed and deserved attention.
Just turned seventeen and still living in his neighbors basement he landed a deal with Warner Brothers Records. This kid has some huevos, even with no professional experience he demanded to be allowed to produce his own first album.
The executives at the Record Company were hesitant to give full control to such a young person but they finally gave in. So this young man set out to prove them all wrong. He decided to play every single instrument on his first album. Before he was done he played all 27 instruments to get it done.
His Debut Album went Platinum and the rest is history.
The young man later became know as the Artist formerly know as Prince.
Just goes to show, if you try and try again eventually you can get it done yourself. Just Another Point of View.
Do you ever wonder, cause sometimes do, if in attempting to be So Politically Correct we aren’t Violating One Our Most Sacred Rights? I’m talking about The FIRST Amendment, The Right To Freedom of Speech. Could we be just annihilating it in theory at least if not in strict legality.
If someone writes that they think I look like a Monkey or a character from “Planet of The Apes” which, by the way I probably do or have looked like on several occasions, how can anyone have the right to ASSUME that they mean it as a Racial Slur?
Not to mention, in doing so, destroy a persons livelihood and their ability to earn a living without truly knowing if that’s what they meant at the time they wrote that about me.
After pondering all that for a while now I can’t say that I’m not 100% sure that what America has done to Rosanne Barr may be morally and / or legally right. After all, this is America land of the free home of the brave where our soldiers fight wars in places far, far away to protect our right to be free even in our speech.
The way I see it, unless you can prove without a benefit of the doubt that what you think someone said at any given time they wrote something was true, there is no case.
It then all become assumption, conjecture. Nothing more than someone giving credence to a rumor, a belief someone has, and certainly Not A Truth.
I’ve looked at a picture of the person Rosanne supposedly besmirched on that infamous Tweet and I must say I have to agree. If you put a Picture of her next to a picture of Dr Zira (one of my favorite characters from “Planet Of The Apes”, there is a slight resemblance. But then again if you put a picture of ME next to a picture of Clyde the orangutan from the Clint Eastwood Movie “Every which Way But Loose” you’ll have to admit there is a slight resemblance as well. How can we prove that those are Racist comparisons though? According to researchers, “The great ape families are the species most closely related to our own”. So, Come On now, can we all just try to Relax and live together without being So Sensitive?
As Christians, we’re even worst. We sanctimoniously pick and choose which parts of the Bible we want to follow on any given day and which ones we just run over with a Mac truck. We violate Bible verse every day without giving it a second thought but when we catch someone in the public eye doing it, OMG you would think it was the end of the world. Tie them to the stacks and stone them in public.
The truly sad thing is that in thousands and thousands of years we still have not learn to get along as one people. That we still don’t realize that the more we choose to segregate ourselves by the color of our eyes, our skin, race, heritage, geographic origin, etc, etc, etc WE WILL NEVER achieve that goal. We must set all our bad history aside and accept to see and treat each other as Equals. Only then will we that happen.
Don’t get me wrong and don’t put words in my mouth. I’m not saying we can’t be proud of who our ancestors and our heritage. Let’s how ever stop using what our ancestors went through and learn from it instead of using it to continue to separate us as One People.
We don’t have to like or agree with something someone else says but then again we don’t have to start a huge campaign to ruin their world either. Leave that to Karma.

Wow, Just barley into summer and it has been a wild ride indeed.
After Sarah Gilbert does a comedy skit with John Goodman who was a guest on the CBS Show “The Talk”, a skit about their old show Roseanne. Gilbert was so impressed about how comfortable the skit felt that she asked Goodman if he would be willing to do the show again.
Without hesitation Goodman was in and that was the start of the re-boot of the new Roseanne show featuring the one and only Roseanne Barr. Gilbert quickly contacted other former show members who also were quick to come on board and the new show was re-born.
It debuted on ABC with a huge ratings and remained as the number one show on TV till it went into hiatus for the season. By this time ABC had already renewed the show for a second season with Roseanne rumored to be making about Half A Million per episode.
The world was a Rosy place until one night when, as she claims, Roseanne, in an Ambient stupor, on her computer first off a Tweet that would bring an abrupt halt to all the goodness that anyone could find in the re-boot of the Roseanne show.
With the swift click of the Enter button Roseanne managed to insult, and in the worst possible way, a whole race of people as her tweet in most of America’s eyes, basically compared them to characters from the Planet of The Apes. YIKES.
Immediately the attacks on the Tweet ad Roseanne started. In a few hours Roseanne, most likely realizing by now that she had crossed the line, deleted the Tweet and started apologizing and even Tweeted that she was leaving Twitter. Sadly hat was far from the truth.
Over the course of the rest of the night and the following day, Rosy had continued Tweeting almost about 300 times. She went from attempting to defend herself to continuing to lash out at people and continuing to compare this one poor lade to a character from Planet Of The Apes.
But this time public sentiment was so high against Roseanne that ABC had no choice but to take action and they Canceled their Number One Show. Wow. A sign of the times that you just can’t say anything and get away with it. Well, unless your Donald Trump but, that a whole different story.
It’s like grandma used t say, “You just can’t let your Alligator Mouth over run your Hummingbird Brain”. Just Another Point Of View.
Have to admit it's been a tough couple of weeks. Had a few health issues going on but luckily most things seemed to have worked them selves out.
Mr renal output issues seemed to have been associated with dehydration. I seem to have that under control now but it was an eye opener for sure.
That along with a pesky Kidney Stone which bugged me for weeks and is STILL working its way out and still causing a bit of pain and digestive issues. Yikes.
They had also told me that I had a cyst on my renal tube but it turns out that is benign and has been there since 2013. Why would they they even tell about it then? Oh Well.
So, still working on things but nothing life threatening for now anyway. One good thing about everything is that I've lost quite a bit of weight, a good thing, all things considered.
I have learned that I need to stop drinking soda to avoid anymore pesky Kidney Stones. I need to Stop Drinking Cow Milk. When you investigate it you'll find that after your growth years, cow milk is not a good thing for us. Yes it does provide Protein and Calcium but it also provides High Fat and can contribute to cardiac issues. If you want to Drink Milk, Drink Soy or Coconut, Almond, Rice, Hemp or other Nut Milk. Much healthier for you.
"Clerks" filmmaker was ready to perform two of his "Kevin Smith Live!" stand-up shows at the Alex Theater in Glendale, California, recently, but canceled the second event due to illness.
47 Year Old Director and co-star of "Jay and Silent Bob" had a surprise heart attack. He Tweeted about it saying, “After the first show this evening, I had a massive heart attack. The Doctor who saved my life told me I had 100% blockage of my LAD artery (aka “the Widow-Maker”). If I hadn’t canceled show 2 to go to the hospital, I would’ve died tonight. But for now, I’m still above ground”.
Kevin announced on Facebook just the other day that he would drink A Gallon of Milk at a time sometimes 2. Yikes. Plus he says he would hardly ever eat a vegetable. His diet consisted mostly of steak, milk and cheese which he has now All Cut Out.
Watch what you you eat and drink and start thinking about living longer. Just Another Point of View.
Many times we just don’t know who people truly are.
If I told you that my Grandfather was descendant from a noble Spanish Family named Munoz who had come to America seeking a better life for their children would it matter? If I told you that my Grand Parents on my mom’s side were descendants of full blooded natives would it make any difference.
What truly matters is who we are or who we have become.
If you someone is in need there is no shame in accepting help from someone else. The same applies if you decide to help someone out. There certainly is no shame in that either. Many folks prefer to be humble about their giving (Deuteronomy 15:11) while there are those who do it to attain attention and notoriety (Matthew 6:1-4) but lets be clear that the two are not the same at all.
“For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.”
“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
One does not have to be a Christian to realize that certain principles are the way of the universe and apply to all man kind. Helping the needy is one of these.

Ok, I understand the 2nd Amendment as it was written back on December 15, 1791 but can we move forward to modern times please.
I mean, I understand back in 1791 the government was still new and citizens were still somewhat leery about being pushed into something they might not agree with but lets face it. I thing we are well past that now.
We live in a time when politicians have figured out a way to lie, steal and control us with us not even winking an eye. So this notion of us having to have guns to protect ourselves from a foreign invasion or our own government that has gone rogue is more than a little far fetched.
I whole hardheadedly agree that every American of Sound Mind Should have the right to own a gun to protect their home and property but just how many guns does anyone need, really? I mean, if you want a gun then apply for a license, buy a gun and register it and keep it at home.
Unless we're all ready to go back to the “GUNSMOKE” Days where we all carry a sidearm and kill anyone just because they rub us the wrong way. Do we really want to go back to those days. Of course we don't.
Maybe the time to take a closer look at the 2nd Amendment is long over do. Maybe it's time to bring the 2ndAmendment into modern times and put it into prospective. America is not the same as it was in 1791. The threats of someone sneaking a couple of wooden ships onto one of our shores and unloading a militia of scaly wags with long guns who's intent is to over throw our government are over.
I seriously believe that was what the 2nd Amendment protected against but those times are long gone and we live in a new, modern world.
As a former Law Enforcement Officer I believe that More Guns Is Not The Answer. I believe that Arming Teachers just turns them into 1st Targets and that is Not The Answer Either. Leave the Protecting to our Law Enforcement Officers who's number 1 responsibility is to confront any threat directly and with force.

We always hear the term “Living from Paycheck to Paycheck” but do we know what that really means?
For many of Americans, the especially older Americans on Government retirement, Living from Paycheck to paycheck is Real. The Government has always and still pays out Social Security and Retirement Checks once a month. The Sad Truth is the amount most people make lasts about a week and the rest of the month is a challenge. Most Americans on Retirement make on average about $1500 a month. Sounds like a lot right? Certainly you would think enough for them to survive on but, is it really?
By the time you take out Rent, Utilities, Doctor Expenses, Medicines, Phone Bill, Cable, Car Payment, Gasoline and Insurance plus food for four weeks, Most Americans Find Themselves With Little If Nothing Left. They are left trying to fin for themselves in Any Way Possible. For some who are still able bodied and can work it’s just an inconvenience. The the others who are sick, elderly or feeble it can be a matter of life and death.
Before you say, well they should be responsible for their own way lets take a look at the promise of Social Security made to them by their Government starting on 8/14/35 when they started paying into something called the Social Security Retirement Fund.
It was supposed to be a retirement account that people paid into and by the time they turned 55, their account would have well enough money in there so they could live out the rest of their lives with a nice monthly pay check but something went horrible wrong.
Their government ran into a money crunch and their politicians started RAIDING Their Citizens Retirement Fund to the tune of Billions of Dollars. Money They Never Put Back.
That’s why so many people on retirement now a days don’t get enough money. That’s why they keep raising the retirement age from the original 55 to now 65.
Has their Government or Their Politicians Done Anything To make it right. NO. Out of site, out of mind. As long as everybody doesn’t have to deal with seeing how badly these folks are struggling on a daily basis and since most of these folks have almost but given up on complaining, chances are The Money RAIDED from those poor people Will Never be replaced.
Do of most of us think this is right? That Our Government would RAID the Coffers of their Own Citizens and then Never Pay Them Back?
Just Another Point Of View.
A Lady with a Latino Last Name says; “I don’t blame the Dreamers but they are here illegal and they themselves need to correct that by becoming legal or going back. I have a friend that paid and studied because she wanted to become American, she is not Mexican she is from Vietnam..... I am so very proud of her.”
My Reply: I just can't believe you guys. If we all look back in our Heritage, people with last names like Hernandez, Ramos, Cortez and Nieto, etc, ect most likely come from ancestors who were from Mexico. How can we insist on wanting no, wait, demanding these folks "go back". Let's not forget that Texas was Mexican itself being a part of Mexico from the start. Dugh.
Next, folks here illegally have been trying to become citizens for decades but due to the Republicans and Democrats just fighting each other, that has failed to happen. If you sent every single illegal back the economy of this great country would crumble and our farming and labor industry in restaurants, building houses and structures and many more would be devastated. So lets be smart about things. We just can't send all these people back. Let's give the ones already here a fair path to citizenship while at the same time coming up with a better way to stop illegal immigration. Come on now. STOP THIS INSANITY.
This reminded me of the story of the Mexican Crab Bait Bucket. In case you've never heard it here you go and I'm paraphrasing now. There are two men fishing on a pier and it starts to sprinkle so one of them says, “I'm going in since it's raining.” The other man decides to stay but as the first man leave he see's a crab trying to crawl out of the other man's bait bucket. He says, “Hey you have a crab trying to escape.” The other man replies, “Oh don't worry those are Mexican Crabs, when on tries to reach the top of the bucket to freedom and a better life the other jealous ones will grab him and pull him back in because they don't want him to have a better life?”
Just another Point of View.
