John Francis Bonjovi Jr. singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known as the founder and frontman of the rock band Bon Jovi which was formed in 1983.
He has released 16 studio albums as well as two solo albums. Bon Jovi is a founder and former majority owner of an arena football league team "The Philadelphia Soul". In 1986 the band achieved widespread success and global recognition with its third album "Slippery when wet", it sold 28 million copies as of 2011. As of 2019 Bon Jovi has released 15 studio albums, 5 compilation and 3 live albums. The band has sold more than 130 million albums worldwide. Bon Jovi has performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans. In October of 2021 Bon Jovi tested positive for Covid-19 and later reported as fully vaccinated and feeling great, he had recovered from the disease by November 12,2021. The album 'Slippery when wet" has gone platinum 12 times over. In1994 Bon Jovi had bid 8 million dollars to buy 22 percent of the NFL"s Philadelphia Eagles beating out Donald Trump, however he dropped his interest just months later because it was too much time consuming. On Bon Jovis hit song " You give love a bad name" was co-written with his uncle.
