![]() Several years ago I was Diagnosied with CKD. In case you don't know that stands for Chronic Kidney Disease. Quite a few things were going on that should have alerted me to this fact that if I had known I could have started taken steps then to keep it at an early stage for longer but NO. Since no one ever told me about those things, I just accepted them as part of getting a bit older and as a man was i denial to what was going on. Years later I now have STAGE FOUR CKD. There is only one Stage left and the Kidney Failure and Dialisys. This being the case I though it is important to give you a few pointer that might help if you are noticing any of these things, talk to a Nephrologist and or a Urologist and find out what you should do to keep CKD at bay. Early Symptoms of Kidney Disease You Should Never Ignore Kidney disease is often called a "silent killer" because early signs can be subtle and easy to overlook. Ignoring these symptoms can lead to irreversible kidney damage and loss of function. What to Watch For: Increased or decreased frequency of urination. Dark, Cloudy or Foamy Urine. Pain or burning sensation while urinating. Blood in urine. Why It Matters: These could signal reduced kidney filtration efficiency or infections. What to Watch For: Swelling in ankles, feet, hands, or face. Puffiness around the eyes Why It Happens: When kidneys lose their ability to remove excess fluid, it builds up in tissues. What Happens If You Ignore the Symptoms? Progression to chronic kidney disease (CKD) or kidney failure. Need for lifelong dialysis or kidney transplantation. Increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. How to Protect Your Kidney Health Stay Hydrated: Drink enough water to keep urine light-colored. Monitor Blood Pressure and Sugar Levels: High blood pressure and diabetes are leading causes of kidney disease. If yo start having what you think are signs that may be associated with Prostate issues consult a Urologist ASAP. Don't let things get so bad that you start having UTI's and urine starts backing back up into your Kidneys and doing damage that may be irreiversable. Don't let this Silent Killer start stalking you and sneeking up on you. Nip it at the bud as soon as you have any symptoms. Stay Happy and Healthy my friends. Keep your Kidneys healthy as well. |
