So your feeling a little sluggish but your not all about taking any of those energy drinks that are full of strange sounding herbs and high levels of caffeine. Here is something you may consider.
For the longest time I’d been hearing about how healthy it was to drink lemon juice on any empty stomach first thing in the morning when you got up.
The more I looked into it the more I realized that there are many recipes for this type of energizing drink. The latest that I’ve seen is involves lemon, olive oil and a few other spices that have long been known to help certain conditions.
Here is that recipe: One Whole Lemon (washed thoroughly) cut the lemon in 4ths and throw in a blender or juicer
Two tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
throw into blender with lemon pieces
Add a cup of clean water
Blend or Juice into a liquid.
If you blender leaves pulp, strain before drinking.
So what does this concoction help with?
1st, it has a Cardio Protective Effect
2. Anti-Inflammatory and provides many Vitamins
3. Fights Constipation by lubricating Digestive Mucousa
4. Activates function of the Bladder and Gallbladder
5. Contains Anti-Oxidants
6. Helps with Articular and Rheumatic Pains
7. Maintains Balanced Liver and Gallbladder
If you don’t think you can take the whole cup of the mix I have a little secret, you can take half a lemon, Squeeze it into a cup, add a tablespoon of the olive oil and mix ip up vigorously and gulp it down quickly. Follow it with a teaspoon of raw honey if you must just to change the taste in your mouth.
Happy, Healthy, Eating.
**There are many home remedies for all sorts of things out there all over the world but as always, if you have and condition at all, ALWAYS, consult with you doctor before considering any single one.
