On the Streams

Fall is here and no better time to Stream a Little Stream. Not to mention there quite a few new shows available on all streaming platforms to choose from.

I’m talking stuff like, STING, CADO LAKE, MR CROCKET, BAD BOYS; RIDE OR DIE and LONLEY PLANET just to mention a few.

PLUS, there’s stuff like ASPHALT CITY. Distributed by: Vertical, Roadside Attractions ; “Asphalt City follows Ollie Cross (Tye Sheridan), a young paramedic assigned to the NYC night shift with an uncompromising and seasoned partner Gene Rutkovsky (Sean Penn). The dark nights reveal a city in crisis; Rutkovsky guides Cross, as each 911 call is often dangerous and uncertain, putting their lives on the line every day to help others. Cross soon discovers firsthand the chaos and awe of a job that careens from harrowing to heartfelt, testing his relationship with Rutkovsky and the ethical ambiguity that can be the difference between life and death.

Runs 1 hour and 20 minutes and it’s Rated R.

THE KILLER is action at it’s best. “Solitary, cold, methodical and unencumbered by scruples or regrets, a killer waits in the shadows, watching for his next target. Yet, the longer he waits, the more he thinks he’s losing his mind, if not his cool. John Woo’s remake of his own 1989 film stars Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel as Zee, an infamous assassin known in the Parisian underworld as the Queen of the Dead. After refusing to kill a blinded young woman (Diana Silvers) in a Paris nightclub, however, the compassionate decision threatens to unravel her reputation and alliances, all while attracting the attention of police investigator, Sey (Omar Sy). Soon, she finds herself plunged into a sinister criminal conspiracy that forces her to confront her past.”

Studios Sony Pictures Releasing; “Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) is a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl, but her world turns upside-down when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley’s emotions -- led by Joy (Amy Poehler) -- try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness (Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind, the only emotions left in Headquarters are Anger, Fear and Disgust.

Runs 97 Minutes and it’s Rated PG.
