We always hear the term “Living from Paycheck to Paycheck” but do we know what that really means? For many of Americans, the especially older Americans on Government retirement, Living from Paycheck to paycheck is Real. The Government has always and still pays out Social Security and Retirement Checks once a month. The Sad Truth is the amount most people make lasts about a week and the rest of the month is a challenge. Most Americans on Retirement make on average about $1500 a month. Sounds like a lot right? Certainly you would think enough for them to survive on but, is it really? By the time you take out Rent, Utilities, Doctor Expenses, Medicines, Phone Bill, Cable, Car Payment, Gasoline and Insurance plus food for four weeks, Most Americans Find Themselves With Little If Nothing Left. They are left trying to fin for themselves in Any Way Possible. For some who are still able bodied and can work it’s just an inconvenience. The the others who are sick, elderly or feeble it can be a matter of life and death. Before you say, well they should be responsible for their own way lets take a look at the promise of Social Security made to them by their Government starting on 8/14/35 when they started paying into something called the Social Security Retirement Fund. It was supposed to be a retirement account that people paid into and by the time they turned 55, their account would have well enough money in there so they could live out the rest of their lives with a nice monthly pay check but something went horrible wrong. Their government ran into a money crunch and their politicians started RAIDING Their Citizens Retirement Fund to the tune of Billions of Dollars. Money They Never Put Back. That’s why so many people on retirement now a days don’t get enough money. That’s why they keep raising the retirement age from the original 55 to now 65. Has their Government or Their Politicians Done Anything To make it right. NO. Out of site, out of mind. As long as everybody doesn’t have to deal with seeing how badly these folks are struggling on a daily basis and since most of these folks have almost but given up on complaining, chances are The Money RAIDED from those poor people Will Never be replaced. Do of most of us think this is right? That Our Government would RAID the Coffers of their Own Citizens and then Never Pay Them Back? Just Another Point Of View. |
