We our trek back to the theaters in the pandemic has proven to be slow and wobbly at best. Box Office earnings are way down from what studios predicted so they are going slow on the release of too many new movies while seating is still limited in most theaters.

THE NEW MUTANTS is the thirteenth and final installment in the X-Men film series. The film was directed by Josh Boone from a screenplay he wrote with Knate Lee, and stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga. Rated: PG-13 the movie RUNS: 1 Hour and 34 Minutes. ALONE comes from Mill House Motion Pictures. A cold-blooded killer hunts a widow in the wilderness after she escapes from his remote cabin in the Pacific Northwest. It is an American horror film directed by Johnny Martin and starring Tyler Posey (whom you may remember as J Lo’s son in Maid in Manhattan)and Donald Sutherland. The film follows a young man who barricades himself inside his apartment during a zombie apocalypse. ALONE is in theaters now, RUNS: 1 Hr 38 mins and is Rated: R. On the streaming side, you might want to check out a movie called ANTEBELLUM. Another American horror film written and directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz in their feature directorial debuts. The film stars Janelle Monáe, Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, and Gabourey Sidibe, and follows a modern-day African American woman who must escape from what appears to be a 19th-century Southern slave plantation.
