Are you ready ? Summer is here and it's going to be a great time to spend at least some of it enjoying on of the great movies that are out there this year.
Tomorrowland with, of all people, George Clooney in the lead who seems to be keeping a secret about a land totally different than the one we live in. Disney has a lot riding on this film that cost them near $200 Million to make and some critics are already starting to chop it down by saying there is not enough of Tomorrowland in the film itself with most of it being filmed in our modern time planet and surroundings. As we all know thought the proof is up to the audience which I've found doesn't quite look at a movie through the eyes of a critic and rightfully so. Yes / No ? Tomorrowland, in my opinion, is worth a shot and it's rated PG from Disney. Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) touches a lapel pin with the letter T on it, she finds herself transported to Tomorrowland, a city filled with huge robots and sleek buildings. The gifted young woman recruits the help of scientist Frank Walker (George Clooney), a previous visitor to Tomorrowland, who years ago made a startling discovery about the future. Together, the two adventurers travel to the metropolis to uncover its mysterious secrets, as the fate of mankind hangs in the balance. Now, on to Jurrasic World. Jurassic World features a dinosaur theme park but after 10 years of declining ticket sales, the corporate folks running the island create a genetically modified dinosaur attraction that goes terribly wrong, again. Twenty-two years after Steven Spielberg amazed movie fans with a T- Rex making a glass of water shake and eating a lawyer hiding on a toilet, he produces this reboot of this legendary franchise. Starring audience favorite Chris Pratt, this adventure will thrill and scare a whole new generation of dinosaur fans. Rated PG 13. View the trailers to these great movies on the KWMC home page! |
