It would appear that in this age and time of the Global Pandemic local theaters are just now starting to open their doors and then ever very so cautiously.
This being the case we still can’t give you an exact idea as to what movie is showing where but, with any luck, we might be back to that by next month. So all we can do is tell you about the latest movies that have been released into the Stream-O-Sphere and here we go. A great little movie for youngsters of all ages is recently released from Disney+ and it’s you may have heard about it. Artemis Fowl is Rated; PG and Runs:1hr 55min. A film based on the first two books penned by author Eoin Colfer and from her wildly popular children’s fantasy series. From Walt Disney Studios, Artemis Fowl tells the story of adolescent criminal genius Artemis, who captures a vicious fairy, and attempts to harness her magical powers in a bid to rescue his family. Artemis, a 12-year-old genius and descendant of a long line of criminal masterminds. He soon finds himself in an epic battle against a race of powerful underground fairies who may be behind his father’s disappearance. A good movie for the entire family. NEXT, From Universal Pictures and streaming on both Apple TV and VUDU is You Should Have Left with Kevin Bacon in the lead. Strange events plague a couple and their young daughter when they rent a secluded countryside house that has a dark past. Theo Conroy (Kevin Bacon) is a successful middle-aged man whose marriage to his much younger actress wife, Susanna (Amanda Seyfried) is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and the shadow of his past. In an effort to repair their relationship, Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a stunning, remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter, Ella (Avery Essex). What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a perfect nightmare. You Should Have Left is Rated:R and Runs:93mins. Other movies now streaming that you might want to check out Da 5 Bloods and The King of Staten Island. Like I said with any luck there should be quite a few more releases coming next time so stay tuned. For now hit up your Big Screen HD TV and stream a good movie or two while you’re At The Movies at home. |
