The passing of Prince should just reinforce the fact that I doesn't matter how famous we are, how rich we may be or what material things we have, no of that truly matters because when our time comes and we're called, that' sit.
When Prince died the world lost a great entertainer, a showman, and most of all and least little known things about him, he was one of the most spiritual men in the world. Early rumors not withstanding, if we look back through his entire career, he was never part of an scandal. In spite of his $300 Million Dollar Fortune he still chose to live in his hometown and to those who knew him there he was always a very down to earth guy. Prince made certain that a good deal of his money went to help others. In fact, Prince started investing in clean energy for people with limited means a while back. If you live in some areas of Oakland and have solar panels on your house Prince probably paid for them. Prince also had a knack for meeting beautiful women artists and turning them into stars. He wrote songs for other people too, you may have heard of them like, he wrote Manic Monday which became a big hit for the Bangles. He also penned a tune forStevie Nicks called Stand Back. Remember the song by Chaka Kahn, I Feel For you, Prince wrote that too and the list goes on and on. Prince considered himself a sinner but number one in his life was GOD. Anyone that was close to him could tell you, he would sit down to talk to someone who had asked him about sex and eventually it would turn into a conversation about GOD. You see Prince believed that it was his responsibility to help people and to bring people to GOD. That was the real Prince. May he rest in Peace. So lets remember that material things and money will only seem to make us happy for a while but the true wealth may just be in helping others and introducing them to GOD. Just a Point of View. |
